Our quiet, smooth rolling casters make moving your trunk around the house a breeze. Four casters come in this set.
These easy to install casters are made from high-tech elastic polyurethane and feature internal ball bearings. Each caster also has a pedal brake. Once engaged, the brake will keep your Rhino Trunk from rolling. They are non-marking so you don't have to worry about scratches or smudges on your flooring. They'll roll easily on all types of floors including tile, hardwoods and carpets.
Order these with your trunk and we'll pre-drill the four holes and install the T-nuts. The T-nuts are what you mount the casters to. When you get your trunk, all you need to do is screw the threaded stem of the caster into the pre-installed T-nut until tight. Then screw on the included acorn nut over the stem inside the trunk for a nice, finished look and you're ready to roll.
The caster wheels are 3" in diameter and will elevate your trunk about 4". They are great for home or office use, but not recommended for adding to any of our shipping cases. These casters are not made to handle shipping abuse.
The casters are great for Rhino Trunks used at home or in the office. However we do not recommend them for camp or college use where kids tend to stand on their trunks frequently. For camp or college, we recommend our Rhino Removeable Wheels.
